Boiled Spinach--There's a Limit to Being Fuss-free!

This is the recipe my mother always uses.
A favorite item in our bentos.
To be honest, you can boil the spinach any way you like. For 2 servings. Recipe by kuma*han

Steps
- 1
Rinse the spinach well, and parboil in boiling water. Boil the spinach before cutting.
- 2
When boiling the spinach, dunk the stalks in first, count to 10, then immerse the leaves and boil for 1-2 minutes.
- 3
Remove the spinach from the boiling water, drain in chilled water, then gently squeeze out the excess water, and cut into desired lengths.
- 4
Pour on the dashi soy sauce (and toss, if you like), sprinkle on some sesame seeds, then it's ready to serve.
