Heat oil in a kadai and fry the onions and green chillies till the onions become golden.

Add the tomato and cook for around 2 minutes.

Add the masalas and cook for 2 minutes.

Beat the eggs and add it to the masala.

While the egg is still runny, add the dal and keep stirring and simmer for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander.

Serve with butter toasted pav.
