Ingredients

20 minutes
  • 250 gmdosa batter
  • 1 cupleft over rice
  • 3/4 cupgrated lauki
  • 4 table spoonfinely chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tspchopped green chilli
  • For tempering
  • 2 tspoil
  • 1/2 tspmustard seed
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 tspsesame seeds

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Grind leftover rice with little water in a mixer. Grate lauki (bottle gourd).

    Mix rice paste and lauki ina dosa batter. Add chopped coriander and green chilli. Temper with mustard seeds and cumin seeds and sesame seeds. Spread on non-stick tawa.

    Cover with lid. On low flame keep it for4-5 minutes. Same on other side. And uttapam is ready to serve.

    It is soft and very good in taste.
