Heat olive oil in pan over medium heat.add minced garlic and red pepper flakes,sauté for about 1-2 minutes until garlic is fragrant,but not browned.

Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir well.season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Simmer the sauce for about 15-20 minutes allowing it to thicken.if using,stir in fresh basil during the last few minutes of cooking.adjust seasoning to your liking.

In large skillet,heat olive oil over medium heat add boiled pasta,pour Arrabbita sauce and toss the cooked pasta into the sauce making sure it’s well coated.sprinkle chopped fresh basil.

Enjoy your homemade Arrabbita sauce pasta adjust spice level and seasoning according to your taste.if you like cheese spread some cheese.
