Wash methi leaves and chop finely. Mix curd and all the ingredients mentioned in 'for yoghurt masala'. Mix well.

Heat oil and fry chopped methi leaves as it shrink. Keep aside. Bring boil to yoghurt or curd masala with 3 cups of water. Stir continuously to prevent curd being intact.

Add cooked methi leaves and keep stirring to get a thick kadhi

To prepare the tadka, heat oil and splutter ponch phutan. Add sliced onions, chopped garlic, curry leaves, and dry red chilli. Mix well with the methi leaves kadhi.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with steamed rice and roti.
