Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  1. 1/2 cupHara Choliya (hirwi chauli, green chavali) washed and chopped
    Kerala Style Ghee Roast Dosa
  2. 1 tablespoonSesame seeds/ til seeds
    Til Gur Laddoo / तिळगुळ लाडू
  3. 1 cupPalak (spinach) leaves washed and chopped
  4. 1 cupfine sooji/ rava
  5. 2 tablespoonsrice flour
  6. 2 tablespoonsbesan
  7. 1 tablespoonoil
  8. 1 tablespoonginger and chilli paste
  9. 1 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1 tspcoriander powder
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 1 tspcumin seeds
  13. 1 tspmustard seeds
  14. 1/4 tsphing
  15. 1 tablespoonyoghurt
  16. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  17. 1 tspcooking oil for each dosa

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a deep mixing bowl. Add all the leaves, sooji, flours and mix well.

    Then mix the yoghurt in 1 cup water, churn well and make buttermilk. Then mix slowly in the bowl and mix using a wire whisk.

  3. 3

    Then mix in the chili ginger paste, salt, coriander powder. Then heat the oil and add mustard and cumin seeds. When they pop, add turmeric and hing. Then pour on the batter.
    Keep covered for 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add more water and mix to pouring consistently. Then mix the baking soda and 1 tablespoon water and whisk well. Then heat a skillet, grease with oil.

    Pour laddleful of batter, spread like dosa and pour the oil on the edges and centre. Cook on medium hot flame till crisp from base. Turn over and cook the top side.

    Prepare all the dosas similarly. Serve with your choice of chutney, butter, etc. and enjoy healthy Dosa.
