Simple Beef Pilau

Step 1: Begin by boiling your meat until tender

Step 2: Soak the rice in warm water for 10min

Step 3: Heat cooking oil in a sufuria and add in your onions. Heat until golden brown.

Step 4: Add in the crushed garlic, ginger, and garam masala & Pilau whole (cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper etc)

Step 5: Cook for 2 min to let the spices release their aroma, add a bit of water then add in potato pieces.

Step 6: Now add the meat and allow it to simmer.

Step 7: Add in your rice and salt to taste, with 3 cups of water.Lower your heat

Cover with a foil to keep heat distributed and preserve fluffiness.
Tips
The browner the Onion, the browner the pilau.
