  1. 1 1/2 lbsbeef sirloin, thinly sliced into strips
  2. 3 tablespoonsall-purpose flour
  3. 4 tablespoonsbutter
  4. 1medium onion, finely chopped
  5. 2 clovesgarlic, minced
  6. 8 ozmushrooms, sliced
  7. 1 cupbeef broth
  8. 1 tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
  9. 1 teaspoonDijon mustard
  10. 1 cupsour cream
  11. Salt and pepper, to taste
  12. Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
  13. Egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions, for serving

    Season the beef strips with salt and pepper. Toss them with flour until evenly coated.

    In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the beef in batches, browning it on all sides. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.

    In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is soft and translucent.

    Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are golden brown.

  5. 5

    Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

  6. 6

    Return the beef to the skillet. Reduce the heat to low and cook for about 5 minutes, until the beef is just cooked through.

  7. 7

    Stir in the sour cream and heat through. Be careful not to boil, as this can cause the sour cream to curdle. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.

  8. 8

    Serve the Beef Stroganoff over cooked egg noodles. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Amazing. I did skip the dijon mustard bc I realized last min I was out. And you could tell I missed something. However even w that it was great! My picky kid even ate it.
