Ingredients

6 hours
4-6 servings
  • 2-3chicken breasts
  • 1onion (chopped/diced)
  • 2-4 clovesgarlic (minced)
  • 1 tbspminced ginger (fresh or jar)
  • 1large can of tomato puree or sauce
  • 1-2 cupplain yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 2 tbspolive oil
  • 1/4 cupheavy cream (optional)
  • Spices
  • 1 tspturmeric
  • 2 tbspgaram masala
  • 1 tspcumin
  • 1 tsppaprika
  • 1/4-1/2 tspcayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tspcinnamon
  • 2 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tsppepper

Steps

6 hours
  1. 1

    Cut chicken into chunks.

  2. 2

    Mix all ingredients together, except for the heavy cream, and add to the crockpot.

  3. 3

    Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

  4. 4

    Add the heavy cream about 20 minutes before serving and stir to combine.

  5. 5

    Serve with rice, and other Indian style/inspired dishes.
