Take all ingrediant. Soak black eyed peas 5/6 hours.

Cook soaked black eyed peas add salt and cook in cooker take 3 whistle.

Take grated coconut and onian pieces and fry it in pan adding 1/2 tablespoon oil.Then grind it in mixer.

Take pan add oil in it late it be heated then add cumin seeds,curry leaves, asafoetida and chopped onion then add above coconut onion paste, ginger garlic coriander leaves paste fry it well then add all masala in it fry it for one min.

Add boil black eyed peas in it fry it and add water if needed cook it for 5/7 min.Black eyed peas masala is ready.

Garnish it with coriander leaves and served with chapati or rice.
