Boil sugar and water to make syrup..Keep on stirring.Add saffron and cardamom.Make a sticky syrup.Keep it aside.

Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan on medium heat to make rabdi.Milk should reduce to 1/3 rd.in quantity.Let it cool.

For the malpua,mix wheat flour,semolina,rabdi, pistachio powder and milk to make flowing
batter.Let it rest for 10 min. - 4
Heat ghee in a shallow pan until medium hot.Pour one ladle full of the batter in ghee. Fry it on both the sides until golden brown.Transfer it on a plate and then soak it in the sugar syrup for 15 min.

Your tasty rabdi malpua is ready to serve.Garnish it with pistachio pieces and rabdi.
