Preheat the taiyaki maker.

Add all ingredients except the liquids to a bowl and whisk together. Add the milk and water, then mix until smooth.

Brush the taiyaki mold with oil or nonstick spray. Pour in some batter, add your favorite filling, then cover with more batter. Close and cook for about 4 minutes.

I tried making these with homemade custard filling!
