  1. 2 1/4 cupsflour
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 2 cupschocolate chips, semi sweet
  4. 1 cupbutter, softened
  5. 3/4 cupsugar, granulated
  6. 1 teaspoonbaking soda
  7. 3/4 cupbrown sugar
  8. 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  9. 1 teaspoonsalt

    Preheat oven to 375° F.

    In a bowl, mix the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

    Add in the eggs (one at a time) and mix well.

    Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt.

    When the mixture is well combined, stir in the chocolate chips. Mix until well blended and a dough is formed.

    Measure one tablespoonful of cookie dough and place it to form a circle on baking sheets. Repeat with remaining mixture. Make sure to leave enough space between the cookies to allow them to expand while baking.

    Bake in the oven until golden brown (8-10 minutes). When the cookies are done, remove from oven and let them cool completely before transfering to a serving plate.

I’m Nour, my friends call me Noura. i live in Dubai and I have 2 beautiful children: Ahmad, 9 yrs old and Manal, 7 yrs old.We travel a lot and we love to try the food of the country when we are abroad. This isn’t easy with the kids since they always want to go to mcdonalds!!!However last summer we went to Lebanon for a vacation and since then my children love eating Lebanese food, they keep on asking for a manouche and kafta sandwich…I have no problem cooking all kinds of cuisine. I enjoy inviting my girlfriends for lunch and let them discover my cooking. My sister told me about this website, and I am very happy to be a member and learn more recipes.
