Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 300-350 gpork tenderloin
  2. 1/2medium onion
  3. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  4. 1 tablespoonwhole grain mustard
  5. 1 tablespoonvinegar
  6. 1/2 tablespoonsugar
  7. To taste coarsely ground black pepper (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Grate the onion. You can also use a food processor or blender. Mix the grated onion with the seasonings marked with ★.

    Cut the pork tenderloin into 8 slices, each about 1.5 cm thick. Lightly pound them with the back of a knife to flatten to about 1 cm thick.

    Marinate the pork in the mixture from step 1 for about 30 minutes. Do not discard the marinade as it will be used later.

    Cook the marinated pork. If using a non-stick pan, no oil is needed. For a regular pan, add about 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil.

    Before turning on the heat, arrange the pork in the pan. Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, then flip and cook for 1 more minute.

    Add the marinade to the pan, reduce to low heat, cover, and steam for 2 minutes.

    Remove the lid and cook for 1 more minute, coating the pork with the sauce until cooked through.
