Vegetable-Packed Dumpling Soup

You can easily make this with frozen dumplings from Costco! The dumplings are a cute size, and you can use just as many as you want, which is really convenient. They’re already well-seasoned, so I added lots of vegetables to make a hearty soup. It’s a quick and easy side dish.

You can easily make this with frozen dumplings from Costco! The dumplings are a cute size, and you can use just as many as you want, which is really convenient. They’re already well-seasoned, so I added lots of vegetables to make a hearty soup. It’s a quick and easy side dish.

Rinse the bean sprouts and drain well. Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, slice the carrot into thin strips, and slice the green onion thinly on a diagonal.

Add about 1 2/3 cups water (about 400 ml) and the carrot to a pot and bring to a boil.

Once boiling, add the bean sprouts, cabbage, and green onion.

When it comes back to a boil, add the chicken bouillon powder and black pepper. Taste and add salt if needed.

Add the frozen dumplings. When it comes back to a boil, simmer for 3–4 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through. Serve in bowls and drizzle with a little sesame oil.
