Ingredients

Makes 4 pieces
  1. Bread dough
  2. 2 1/2 cupsbread flour (about 300 grams)
  3. 1 tablespoonunsalted butter (about 15 grams)
  4. 2 teaspoonssugar (about 10 grams)
  5. 1/2 teaspoonsalt (about 3 grams)
  6. 1 tablespoonnonfat dry milk (about 10 grams)
  7. 7/8 cupmilk (about 210 grams, warm to body temperature in cold weather)
  8. 1 1/4 teaspoonsdry yeast (about 4 grams)
  9. To taste ★Blueberry jam
  10. To taste ★Currants (or raisins)

Cooking Instructions

    Add the bread dough ingredients to the bread machine and start the dough course.

    Punch down the dough and divide into 4 equal parts. Let rest for 10 minutes (bench time).

    Roll out to 10x6 inches.

    Spread blueberry jam.

    Sprinkle with currants.

    Fold into thirds and press lightly to seal.

    Cut into 3 long strips.

    Twist each strip loosely and roll up.

    Form into a flower shape with 3 strips. Tuck the ends underneath. Make 4 flowers in total.

    Mist with water and let rise in the oven at 95°F for 40 minutes.
