Cooking Instructions
- 1
Chop the cabbage finely (I used a food processor for convenience, but be careful not to chop too finely or it will lose texture!)
- 2
Chop the chives into 1/4 inch pieces and finely chop the green onion.
Grate the ginger and garlic. - 3
Sprinkle salt and pepper over the ground meat and knead well. Once it becomes sticky, add the cabbage, chopped garlic, and grated ginger, and knead further.
- 4
Add all the ○ seasonings and knead well again, then add the chives and green onion and mix roughly.
And it's done♪ - 5
Wrap with homemade or store-bought wrappers.
For wrapper instructions, see 'Easy Homemade! ★Gyoza Wrappers★'
- 6
Arrange on a tray dusted with flour. If you're cooking them immediately, dust off some of the flour before cooking to prevent burning.
- 7
Cook the gyoza.
For crispy and juicy gyoza, see '★How to Cook Gyoza (Crispy and Juicy!)' - 8
Homemade means peace of mind!
Enjoy your easy and delicious gyoza♪

★Advice 1
It's a bit of work, but using fresh garlic and ginger is definitely tastier!

★Advice 2
Instead of cooking and eating the gyoza right away, freeze them first and let them rest for a much better taste!

Easy Handmade Gyoza Dumpling Filling Easy Handmade Gyoza Dumpling Filling
I love gyoza dumplings, but I'm wary of the store-bought kind, so I make my own. After making them many many times and playing around with the ingredients, I finally settled on this.I've aimed for a recipe with easy to understand ratios. Use this as the base and vary it to your taste.I don't rub the cabbage with salt to preserve the crispy texture, but that means they'll exude water in the filling as time passes, so I recommend making the gyoza dumplings as soon as the filling is made.Add Chinese chives and green onion at the end to preserve their flavor and fragrance. For 40 to 50 dumplings' worth. Recipe by GermanMama cookpad.japan -

Easy Homemade! Gyoza Dumpling Skins Easy Homemade! Gyoza Dumpling Skins
I ran out of skins when I was making gyoza dumplings, so I tried making the skins in a hurry - and I was so surprised that they weren't that different from the store-bought kind! The consistency of the dough can vary depending on the room temperature, season, and type of flour used, so adjust the amount of hot water added. The dough should have a slightly firmer consistency than your earlobe. If you let the dough rest for some time it will be easier to roll out. When rolling out the dough, flour your hands and the rolling pin generously.Make boiled gyoza skins thick, and panfried gyoza skins thin and rectangular. My Secret Recipe for Restaurant-quality Gyoza My Secret Recipe for Restaurant-quality Gyoza
My friend gave me this restaurant's recipe. I changed it a little and made it my family's own. Make the crispy bits around the gyoza if you like. If you steam gyoza with just water you will have normal restaurant-type gyoza. The key is to follow the recipe. By adding katakuriko to the prepared vegetables, you'll be able to prevent the gyoza skins from getting soggy because the starch flour absorbs their excess moisture. It also gives a smooth texture to the filling. Mix the ginger, garlic and pork mince well and the strong smell of the meat will be well hidden. For about 50. Recipe by catwoman cookpad.japan -

Veggie-Packed Healthy Gyoza Veggie-Packed Healthy Gyoza
This is a modification to a gyoza recipe that my mother taught me. You can steam-cook these gyoza before browning them in the frying pan if you'd prefer. You can naturally just use 1 pack of gyoza skins and reduce the amounts of all the other ingredients by half. Still, I think it's more convenient to make more than you need and store some in the freezer for later. These gyoza dumplings will taste best if you use ground meat that's richly marbled. Homemade Chewy Gyoza Skins Homemade Chewy Gyoza Skins
I have tried making a lot of things in the pasta machine, this time I made gyoza skins. It's easier and more fun than using a rolling pin.The Steps are easy First put each skin through the pasta machine at the thickest setting, then put them all through again at the next thinner setting. Change the setting to the next thinnest level each time I usually use Settings 7 -> 5 -> 2 and then they're done. To prevent the dough from drying out, place it in a plastic container with a lid or with plastic wrap while you work. Recipe by Mikesachi cookpad.japan -
Easy Gyoza Dumplings with Crispy Skins and Juicy Insides Easy Gyoza Dumplings with Crispy Skins and Juicy Insides
It was my first time making gyoza dumplings, so I made this while carefully considering each steps, and the results were surprisingly delicious and easy!Important points:Wring out the moisture from the cabbage to wilt it and make it blend with the meat better. This also eliminates the need to rest the filling, and is easier to wrap with the skins too.If you add a little sesame oil at the end, you can remove the gyoza dumplings easier from the frying pan should they get stuck. For 20 dumplings. Recipe by Hacchoumisoaji cookpad.japan -
Juicy Pan-fried Gyoza Dumplings Juicy Pan-fried Gyoza Dumplings
I aimed for simple yet juicy gyoza dumplings. A Chinese friend of mine boils, chops and squeezes the Chinese cabbage, adds it to the filling, and then adds quite a lot of water too. So I wondered if you could just use the moisture in the vegetables and I started experimenting. The key is to cook (or quick-freeze) the dumplings as soon as they're filled. The filling is rather watery, so if they leak, the dumplings burn easily. Be sure to secure the dumplings securely! This is a little trick - the ground pork and egg are very cold right out of the refrigerator and it's painful, so take them out at the same time you take out the vegetables to warm up a bit. For 20 large gyoza dumplings. Recipe by Setsubunhijiki cookpad.japan -
