During the stay-at-home period, I craved something hearty and recreated the Sloppy Joes I ate in college in America using Japanese ingredients.

In a frying pan, heat olive oil and butter or margarine, and cook the ground meat until it is no longer red.

Once the meat is cooked, transfer it to a plate and remove excess fat. Note: A lot of fat will come out, so it's better not to leave too much.

Dice the onion and green bell pepper into small cubes, and sauté them in the remaining fat in the pan without washing it.

Once the onion and bell pepper are somewhat cooked, add minced garlic and continue to sauté.

Add the previously cooked ground meat to step 4 and mix well.

Add all the ★ seasonings and stir well while cooking.

Once thoroughly cooked, generously place the meat on the buns and serve with potato chips. For the chips, thick-cut potato chips are recommended!
