This dough for pasqualina pie is super easy to make and handle, uses just a few ingredients, and tastes great!

Place the flour in a mound on your work surface, making a well in the center.

Sprinkle the salt over the flour.

Add the oil, egg, and a little of the warm water into the center well.

Gradually mix the dough, slowly adding more warm water as needed.

Knead until you have a soft, smooth dough. Let it rest.

Traditionally, divide the dough into 4 balls. Roll them out. For the base, layer 2 sheets, brushing oil between them, add the filling, then cover with the other 2 sheets, again brushing oil between them. I made it even easier.

I divided the dough into just 2 balls, rolled them out, used one for the base and filling, and made 2 pies this way.
