Wash and soak chana dal for two hours. Pressure cook the chana dal for three whistle. Heat a pan with 1 tsp ghee and add grated jaggery. After it melts add grated coconut, mashed chanadal, cardamom powder and salt. Keep stirring until the mixture into thick

Make small balls with the mixture

Soak 2 cup idli rice, 1/2 cup urad dal for four hours then grind rice into fine paste and grind the urad dal into puffy batter. Add both two batter with little salt and mix well with hands. Cover the batter and ferment for 8 hours. If you make this sweet in the evening grind the batter in the morning. Add the baking soda and mix the batter well

Dip the stuffing balls in the batter

Drop the balls slowly into hot oil

Fry them in medium heat.

Fry them into golden crispy
