A sorbet is a frozen dessert made using ice with fruit juice or puree and other ingredients such as wine, liqueur or honey.

Peel and dice the muskmelon, then place the cubes in a ziplock bag and freeze for 3-4 hours or overnight.

Then grind the frozen muskmelon first in a food processor or mixer grinder. Next add basil leaves, lemon juice, honey. Blend again to make a smoothie like consistency.

If it doesn't mix easily, add a little water (1-2 tbsp). Taste the smoothie while blending. If needed, just add more or less honey. Note that as the syrup sets and freezes, the sweetness decreases.

Pour this smoothie into an airtight container and keep it in the freezer to set for at least 5-6 hours.

Scoop out when serving.

And enjoy immediately.
