Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 375 f
- 2
Combine flour, sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl
- 3
Add butter and work mixture with your hands until it is the texture of wet sand. Add 1/2 cup cold water and mix until mixture comes together. If the dough is still too dry add cold water 1 teaspoon at a time until it comes together. Knead dough for about a minute until it is smooth
- 4
Shape dough into a disk and wrap tightly in Saran Wrap. Refrigerate for at least an hour
- 5
To make the filling, add berries, sugar, and orange juice to a large heavy bottomed sauce pan, you may need to adjust the amount of sugar depending on how sweet your berries are
- 6
Cook on medium for about 10 minutes until the berries have cooked down and the liquid is a thin syrup. Allow to cool.
- 7
Separate the dough in half. Roll dough into two 11x11 squares on a floured surface. Press one square into a greased 9x9 pan on the bottom and up the sides
- 8
Pour in the filling. Top with remaining dough square. Fold and pinch edges to make a crust.
- 9
Make several slits in the top of the crust. Brush top with melted butter
- 10
Bake at 375 f until golden on top, about 30 minutes.
- 11
Enjoy!

Blackberry Cobbler Blackberry Cobbler
Americans (especially in the South) love cobbler! Cobbler is a pie without a bottom. There are also recipes that make the biscuits with pie crusts. Since a lot of cobblers I've had in the States were so sweet, I decreased the sugar. This is easy to make. If you can get the ingredients, then you can make this quickly. It tastes better if you wait 30 minutes after it bakes and then enjoy it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The biscuits are crispy and fluffy! Recipe by Mama Imani cookpad.japan -
