Seekh kebab karahi

Seekh Kebab Karahi is a delicious dish that combines juicy Seekh kebabs with flavourful karahi curry.
Seekh kebab is known for its exceptional taste and texture. Minced chicken or beef or mutton blended with a perfect mix of spices and herbs creates a rich and satisfying flavour. Skewered and cooked over charcoal, seekh kababs have a smoky flavour that enhances the overall taste and relished on its own with some raita and naan.
Today I turned these kebabs into a karahi. It’s quite simple and straightforward recipe. I used premade kebabs that I shallow fried. The base curry is a simple onion-tomato affair. Did not add any spices; just used karahi masala and simmered the kebabs in the gravy. All done and dusted in under 30 minutes!

Shallow fry the kebabs, if raw, and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan and sauté the ginger-garlic paste for 30 seconds.

Add the onions and cook till light golden.

Add the tomato and cook till soft.

Add the spice masala and mix well.

Add the kebabs and green chillies. Mix and simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve garnished with cilantro.
