Wash and soak Seeraga Samba rice in a cup of water for 20mins at least..
Seeraga Samba rice, also known as Jeera Samba in Tamil, gets its name from its resemblance to cumin seeds (“Seeragam” in Tamil). This indigenous variety of rice is aromatic, tiny, and prized for its distinct flavor-absorbing properties. It’s often associated with biryani. The rice is grown during the season from August to January.

To grind, add small onions red chili, ginger garlic cloves, coriander leaves

Meanwhile, in a thick bottomed kadai (pan) heat oil & ghee.
Add Onions...Fry until Onion becomes translucent.

Finally, add blended Paste. Cook for some minutes

Add soya sauce, Green Chili Sauce, tomato Sauce and Pinch of salt, Mix well together...

Then add cup of water (2 cups of water = 1 cup of Rice)

As the water begins to boil, add the Seeraga Samba rice.

Reduce the flame to low and keep the kadai closed with a lid

When the water evaporates means the rice seams cooked

Now add tawa at the bottom...Let the briyani set (dum) well. (close the lid) for 5 minutes on medium flame...

Now Open the lid now biriyani is set..., Finally Serve hot
