Ancient Roman Taro
It is a simple and delicious tuber dish served with an aromatic sauce based on rue, cumin, and black pepper.
Steps
- 1
At first peel the taroes. Boil in a pressure cooker for one whistle. Prepare a paste out of parsley leaves in a grinder. Now heat up a pan and roast cumin seeds and black pepper whole.
- 2
Grind them in a grinder. Now heat up a pan with extra virgin olive oil and pour parsley paste. Saute it in low flame and add honey.
- 3
Now mix starch with fish sauce with little bit of water and pour it into the pan. Switch off the gas and mix the gravy properly.
- 4
Now take the paste in a bowl and mix it with the crushed masalas. Pour it on the boiled taroes.
- 5
Now serve it. I suggest pairing this plate with fish or meat stew.
