Sauté the onion and rosemary in a drizzle of olive oil. Add the beans and cook for a couple of minutes to let the flavors blend.

Cover with hot water, add the tomato paste, and blend part of the mixture.

Add the pasta and a little salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, for the pasta's cooking time. Finish with olive oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
