You'll Never Forget Your First Poached Egg!! 🍳🥑👔
Cooking Instructions

Toast a slice of rye bread.

Make a 'cream' from half a ripe avocado.
To do this, peel the avocado, then add lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of black pepper.
Mash everything with a fork until it forms a spreadable cream.
Spread it on the bread.
Use a vegetable peeler to create strips from a carrot and arrange them on the slice of bread as you like.

Boil some water in a small pot.
Once it reaches a boil, lower the heat and:
• Add a teaspoon of white vinegar.
• Create a whirlpool with a teaspoon.At this point, crack an egg into a container and then gently pour it into the pot.
Cook for 3-4 minutes, then remove it with a slotted spoon.
Place the egg on the slice of bread and finish the dish with a handful of pumpkin seeds.

Eggs are a favorite meal. Poaching can seem scary. But it's really easy. A lot of poach recipes call for added white vinegar. I don't always have it and I don't feel it is absolutely necessary. I'm watching my caloric intake. Eggs are an incredible source of protein and yummy but other than boiling, can lead to extra calories cooking them with fats.
