had to cook mine a bit longer than I prefer cuz of bump but still perfect outcome :chef beautiful with a plate full of baked beans
Cooking Instructions
- 1
bring the pan to a slow simmer and add the vinegar
- 2
carefully crack an egg into a cup or small bowl. lower the bowl to the water and gently tip the egg in
- 3
Leave It Alone!
- 4
repeat steps 2 and 3 with the other egg
- 5
keep an eye on the water making sure it doesn't boil
- 6
when the egg starts to float its nearing completion. to test use a holed spoon to lift out the egg and lightly press with your finger. if the white is firm but the yolk is wobbly then you have yourself a runny yolk. if you prefer solid yolk put it back in for a minute amd check again
- 7
once done remove with holed spoon and place on paper towel then serve. I topped my homemade baked beans with a runny poached egg then a pinch of salt

For topping your meal.Step 1: If you don't bring the water to a full rolling boil, the temperature won't be high enough and it won't work. You can probably make 3-4 eggs at the same time. But if you put in too many, the temperature of the water will drop too much and it will be only half done. Recipe by kyonmi cookpad.japan -

I've been making this dish since I was young.※ Add the second egg after the egg white of the first egg has almost completely hardened.※ Pour minimum 4 cm of water measuring from the bottom of the pan. The vinegar ratio is 5-10 % to the water.※ These eggs are great with a salad, pasta, toast, potatoes, or sautéed spinach. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

The Incredible Edible Poached Egg The Incredible Edible Poached Egg
Eggs are a favorite meal. Poaching can seem scary. But it's really easy. A lot of poach recipes call for added white vinegar. I don't always have it and I don't feel it is absolutely necessary. I'm watching my caloric intake. Eggs are an incredible source of protein and yummy but other than boiling, can lead to extra calories cooking them with fats. These are creamy and dreamy with no added calories. I pair them with a good 18 grain toasted dry bread. A delicious, light meal. Taylor Topp Comacho -

I saw a bowl for sale exclaiming that poached eggs could be made in the microwave, but I thought that I could make it using a teacup or small bowl instead! The amount of cooking time depends on the size of the egg, so after 50 seconds, check on it and microwave for 10 second intervals until it's done. This trick will help your egg turn out neatly. Recipe by Honwakagohan cookpad.japan -
