Ingredients

Prep time-10 mins, Cooking time-25 mins

1 cupspaghetti
1large tomato
1medium size onion sliced
1whole garlic clove
1 sprigbasillico with stems
1/2 cupparmigiano reggiano
1 tspchilli flakes
1/8 tspsalt
3-4 Tbspolive oil

Steps

Prep time-10 mins, Cooking time-25 mins

In a bowl boil water with 1Tbsp salt, add spaghetti and cook Al dante, retain 1 cup pasta water and discard the rest, set aside the pasta

Slice the onions, chop the tomatoes

In a pan heat olive oil, add sliced onions and fry to soften, add a whole garlic clove, stir and add basillico stems, add pasta water, stir and discard the stems.

Add the onions to chopped tomatoes and add chilli flakes, salt and spaghetti, mix and add parmigiano reggiano

Plate and add more parmigiano reggiano, basillico and enjoy 😊
