Steps

Take the methi leaves, wash it, chop it and keep aside.

Now heat oil in a kadai.

Once hot add the cumin seeds.

Once the cumin seeds splutters, add the chopped onion and chopped garlic.

Once the onion becomes translucent, add the diced potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.

Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, water, cover with a lid and simmer for another 10 minutes.

Now add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.

Now add the chopped methi leaves. Simmer and cook for 5 minutes till oil separates from the pan.

Remove from the stove and serve hot with puri or steamed white rice.
