Turnip Pear Soup

Peel and cut turnip and pear into small pieces. Put in a saucepan. Add 1 cup water. Add bay leaf, garlic cloves and cinnamon stick. Add salt also.

Cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes. Now pear and turnip are soft. Put off flame. Let it cool.

Discard cinnamon stick and bay leaf. Put in a grinding jar. And grind to a smooth paste.

Heat a sauce pan, add butter and pour the pear -turnip mixture. Add 1/2 cup water and mixed herb. Boil for 2 minutes on low flame.

Tasty turnip pear soup is ready to be served. Dish out in soup bowls. Sprinkle black pepper powder and serve hot.
