Sage in Olive Oil

If you think this is too much oil to use when you get it out of the freezer, then fill, partial way. It could possibly be cut in half. You can do this with most any herb.
Sage in Olive Oil
If you think this is too much oil to use when you get it out of the freezer, then fill, partial way. It could possibly be cut in half. You can do this with most any herb.
Steps
- 1
Wash and dry well, the sage leaves. Make sure the ice-trays are free of water. Chop some of the leaves. Leave some leaves whole.
- 2
Fill the cubicles up. I used half the tray.
- 3
Fill and cover the leaves if the ones with whole leaves stick above the oil, just make sure the leaves are coated with the oil.
- 4
Once the oil is "frozen" take out of the ice-trays and put into a Ziploc bag. Oil and fat is a soft freezing substance. When you use a cube you already have oil for cooking that is slightly staged infused. I hope you enjoy!!!!
