1large sour apple
finely chopped dill and spring onions

Grate the cheese and apple without the skin on a coarse grater.

Add cheese, apple and boiled chopped eggs to the salad bowl.

Season the salad with ground pepper, mix with mayonnaise and herbs.

Toast a few slices of whole grain (or any other) bread in a toaster. Spread cheese salad on each slice.

If you don't have a toaster, you can toast the bread in a dry frying pan or on a grill pan.
