Brush the phyllo sheets with melted butter, then add the ground peanuts mixed with a little butter. Roll up using a rolling pin and place in a baking pan suitable for the oven. Repeat with the remaining sheets, brushing the tops with butter. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.

Once baked and still hot, pour cold simple syrup over the baklava. Let it soak for at least 2 hours before serving.
