Ingredients

40 minutes
2 servings
  1. 1 lb beef (boneless ribeye or filet)
  2. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  3. 1.5 tbspoyster sauce
  4. 2 clovesgarlic (minced)
  5. 1 tspsugar
  6. 1/2 tbspfish sauce
  7. 1 tbsphoney
  8. 1 tspsalt
  9. 1 tspblack pepper
  10. DashMSG
  11. 1/2 tbspcornstarch
  12. Tomato rice
  13. 1-2 cupsrice
  14. 1.5 tbsptomato paste
  15. 3 clovesgarlic (minced)
  16. 1/2 tbspchicken bouillon powder
  17. 1/2 tbspfish sauce
  18. Veggies and garnish
  19. Yellow onion
  20. Bell peppers
  21. Cucumbers
  22. Tomatoes

Cooking Instructions

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix beef with its ingredients (except for the cornstarch) and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 20-30 mins. Cut the veggies in the meantime.

    Make the tomato rice by heating up wok and adding in the oil. Sautee the garlic for 2 mins then add in tomato paste and stir for 1 min. Add in the rice and seasonings then stir for 5 mins until evenly coated.

    Once beef is done marinating, mix in the cornstarch. Heat pan with oil then cook meat on all sides (let the beef get seared on each side).

    Remove beef from heat then cook veggies in the same pan until they're softer.

    Add back in the beef and 1 tbsp of butter. Shake them together on the pan for 2-3 mins.

    Garnish and serve with the tomato rice!
