Whisk together pudding and milk; set aside.

In mixing bowl, cream butter, powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth.

Mix pudding into cream cheese mixture, fold in Cool Whip. NOTE: Fresh whipped cream can be used if serving same day. Whipped cream breaks down easily if served a day or two later.

Mix pecans and cookie sand together.

Place enough “sand” to cover bottom of pail, place a couple scoops of pudding over the sand. Sand, pudding, sand, pudding, ending in sand.

Refrigerate until ready to serve. Place candies just before serving.

NOTE: Recipe is doubled since my sand pail was a bit on the large side.
