Avakaai pickle (Andra mango pickle)

Wash the mangoes and wipe the water thoroughly, Cut in to slightly big pieces.

Take a mixer jar,add mustard seeds,grind into fine powder.

Transfer to a big plate, add red chilli powder,salt, add cut mango pieces, half cup gingelly oil, mix well. Leave it like that whole night.

Next day morning,pour the full gingelly oil, mix well. Daily mix the pickle for one week. Oil will come up.

Tranfer to a bowl. Super tasty, andra style avaikkai pickle is ready. You can store this pickle in air tight glass jar. It will last for an year and more.

Enjoy the tasty, yummy and spicy avakaai pickle with curd rice. You can eat with plain rice and ghee.
