Ingredients

  1. For Makhani sauce
  2. 1 tablespoonbutter
  3. 1 tablespoonoil
  4. 5-6 clovesgarlic, finely chopped
  5. 2small sized onions
  6. 1large tomato
  7. 2dried red chilies
  8. 8-10cashews
  9. 1 tbspAs per taste routine masala
  10. 1/2 tspsalt to taste
  11. For creamy makhani rice
  12. 1 tablespoonbutter
  13. 1 tablespoonoil
  14. 1 cupPrepared gravy
  15. 1 teaspoonred chili powder
  16. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric
  17. 1/2 teaspoondhaniya jira powder
  18. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala
  19. 1/2 teaspoonSalt to taste
  20. 1 tablespoonbutter
  21. 100 gramspaneer
  22. 1 bowlcooked rice (leftover)
  23. as neededChopped coriander
  24. 1 cubeCheese for garnish

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    First, heat butter and oil in a pan and sauté the garlic. Then add the onion and when it becomes soft, add the tomato, dry red chili and spices and mix.

    Now add cashew nuts and cook everything 2-3 minutes or until soften. Cashew nuts give it a creamy texture. Then take it off and let it cool down completely then grind it smooth gravy. Makhani sauce is ready.

    Now heat the oil in a pan again and add the gravy. Add all the spices and let it cook for 2 minutes. Then add the butter and paneer

    Now add the leftover cooked rice and mix. Add coriander and set aside. Garnish with grated cheese while serving.
