When Jamuns are in season, don't miss out on making these cool and refreshing popsicles to enjoy summer and monsoon season! Not only is their colour inviting, the taste too is irresistible.
Steps
- 1
Heat 1/2 cup water and sugar in a non-stick pan and cook till sugar melts. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool completely.
- 2
Put the jamuns into a blender jar, add roasted cumin powder, black salt and chaat masala and blend to a fine paste.
- 3
Strain the mixture through a fine strainer into a large bowl. Add cooled sugar syrup and mix well. Squeeze the juice of lemon directly into it and mix well.
- 4
Transfer the mixture into popsicle moulds and close the lid or with silver foil. Place them in the freezer for 6-8 hours. I have also made small pops in ice cube mould.
- 5
De-mould, place them on a serving plate and serve.
