First boil the milk and keep it aside. Now take a separate pan, add 2 tbsp of ghee in it. When the ghee starts melting, add daliya to it. Fry it for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now add 1 cup of lukewarm water and give it a stir. Now cover the pan and let the daliya cook until its 80 percent done.

Now add milk to it and give it a mix. Cover the pan and let it cook on a low flame for the next 10 minutes.

Now take a tadka pan, add a tbsp of ghee and fry the dry-fruits. Now keep this aside.

Add these fried nuts and give it a mix. Add few strands of kesar too. Now mix everything well and let it cook further for 5 minutes.

Then add elaichi powder and mix it. Next add some nolen gurr (jaggery) as per your taste and let it cook further.

Cook for another 5 to 7 minutes. Now switch off the flame. Let it cool down completely. Then refrigerate it for an hour or two and serve this chilled.
