To make beetroot tikki, first gather all the ingredients. Crush the boiled potatoes and beetroot. Place the crushed potatoes and beetroot in a bowl.

Add the chopped onion and all the spices. Add the crushed cheese as well. Mix everything well, then shape the mixture into balls and flatten them into patties.

In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to make a smooth batter. Dip each beetroot patty into the batter, then coat with semolina.
