BREAD CHAM CHAM
Cham Cham or Chum Chum is a popular Bengali sweet prepared from chena, khoya, dry fruits etc. Btead cham cham is a quick version of traditional cham cham. In this recipe chena/paneer is replaced with bread. This quick ,easy and delicious recipe is hot favorite.
I have prepared filling / stuffing using Malai, sugar and dryfruits.

Cham Cham or Chum Chum is a popular Bengali sweet prepared from chena, khoya, dry fruits etc. Btead cham cham is a quick version of traditional cham cham. In this recipe chena/paneer is replaced with bread. This quick ,easy and delicious recipe is hot favorite.
I have prepared filling / stuffing using Malai, sugar and dryfruits.
Steps

For sugar syrup,add sugar and water in a pan and boil till sugar melts and becomes little thick. Then add kewda water, yellow food colour, mix and keep aside.

For stuffing: Add malai and powder sugar in a mixing bowl and mix well. Then add chopped dryfruits, cardamom powder, mix and refrigerate for a while.

Now take bread and cut your desired shape with a cookie cutter.

Now dip this bread sandwich in prepared sugar syrup and roll and coat it with dessicated coconut. Then refrigerate bread cham cham.

Serve cold/chilled bread cham cham.
