Crispy Stuffed Mushrooms in the Air Fryer

Wash and clean the mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper.

Season the ground meat.

Cut the cheese into small cubes. Place two or three pieces inside each mushroom cap.

Cover the cheese with ground meat, pressing it in.

Beat the eggs in a bowl. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs and a little fine cornmeal (you can add seasonings if you like). Dredge the mushrooms first in flour, then in egg, then in the breadcrumb mixture. For an extra crispy coating, dip again in egg and then in breadcrumbs. Place in the air fryer and cook for 15 minutes.
