Roast the milk mawa on low heat until it releases ghee and turns aromatic.Transfer the mawa to a plate and let it cool completely.

Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, soaked saffron, pistachio slivers, saffron color, and pistachio essence to the cooled mawa.Mix well until smooth and evenly colored.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal balls.Press each ball into a modak mold, then gently unmold.

Arrange the modaks on a serving plate and enjoy.
