Measure and keep all the ingredients ready. Then take a bowl and add to it, coconut, milk powder and sugar powder, ghee, kesar elaichi syrup and cardamom powder. Mix well.

Then add the chilled malai and make a soft dough. Then chill it for 10 minutes.

Then take out and roll into small balls or Pedha. Make a small indentation with your finger on the top. Gently place a dot of saffron water with 1 or 2 saffron threads. Then press a small pinch full of chopped pista bits on top. Press well but gently.

Then arrange on a lined tray and refrigerate till serving. Serve chilled to your family and friends in your Diwali party and enjoy the delicious taste and flavours of cardamom and saffron.
