Ingredients

28 Sausage Balls
  1. 2 cupsAll-purpose flour
  2. 1/2 tspSalt
  3. 1 tbspBaking powder
  4. 2 tbspButter (cold, chopped)
  5. 1 lb(about 450g) Pork sausage (raw)
  6. 16 oz(about 450g) Sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  7. 1/2 cup (120 ml)Milk

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC). Spray a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick spray.

  2. 2

    In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.

  3. 3

    Add sausage, cheese, and milk. Mix by hand until well combined.

  4. 4

    Scoop and shape into 1-inch balls, squeezing to hold shape.

  5. 5

    Place on baking sheet. Bake 20–25 min until browned.

  6. 6

    Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips

Mixing by hand helps combine the ingredients evenly, especially with the butter and sausage.
