Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1white onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsptomato puree
  • 1 canchopped tomatoes OR 500g passata
  • 2 clovesgarlic, diced OR 2 Tsp lazy garlic
  • 1 Tbsporegano (dried)
  • 1 Tbspparsley (dried)
  • 1 Tbspoil (sunflower/vegetable/ya basics)
  • 1glug of red wine (optional but nice)
  • 1 packmeat balls (beef ones - you CAN make your own but it barely gets cheaper to do so)
  • (optional - add chilli powder/flakes for heat)

    Turn your slow cooker to high.

  2. 2

    If you want to make it easy, grab a food processor, and blend the onion, chopped tomatoes, garlic, oregano, parsley, (optional chilli) and oil up. If you don't have one, then dice up the garlic and onion.

  3. 3

    Add the above into the slow cooker (Set to high), and let it go for 10 mins.

  4. 4

    Then add your meatballs into it - you CAN fry them quickly in a pan to sear the outsides but you don't need to.

  5. 5

    Leave it for like 4 hours on high, or 6-8 hours on low.

  6. 6

    When you're ready to eat, boil some pasta and serve together. Goes nicely with a bit of CHEESE.
