Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupchopped tomatoes or 2 medium-sized tomatoes
  2. 1/3 cupchopped onions or 1 medium sized onion
  3. teaspoonchopped green chillies
  4. 1/2 teaspoonground cumin (cumin powder
  5. 1/4 teaspoonground black pepper
  6. salt as required
  7. 2 teaspoonslemon juice or add as required
  8. 2 tablespoonschopped coriander leaves

    Rinse and roughly chop the tomatoes, onion, green chillies and coriander leaves.

    Transfer the chopped ingredients to a food chopper.

    Add the ground spices and salt as required

    Add 2 teaspoon lemon juice.

    Close the lid and process into a fine, slightly-chunky consistency.

    Serve it with chips or crackers like nachos, pita crackers or tortilla chips.
