Homemade Egg Flan

Steps
- 1
Make the caramel: In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water and bring to a boil.
- 2
When the mixture starts to turn golden brown, remove it from the heat and stir constantly. Pour the caramel into aluminum ramekins and set aside.
- 3
In a blender, combine the eggs, sugar, and milk. Blend well, then carefully pour the mixture into the ramekins so the caramel stays at the bottom.
- 4
Place the ramekins in a baking dish with hot water (water bath) and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes. To check if it's done, insert a toothpick—if it comes out clean, the flan is ready. Enjoy!
