A quick and easy soup that's still delicious. You don't need many seasonings—the dried shrimp and opo squash give the broth a naturally sweet and fragrant flavor.

Peel the opo squash and cut it into chunks or thin strips, as you prefer.

Soak the dried shrimp in hot water for 10 minutes to soften, then rinse well. In a pot, cook the shrimp with 3/4 cup water (200 ml) until boiling, then reduce to medium heat.
Add the opo squash and cook for another 4–5 minutes until tender, then turn off the heat.
Season with seasoning powder or salt to taste.

Ladle into bowls and serve.
